BIOGRAPHY
History of La Herradura
La Herradura started when the Horseman Association Club of the North of Joliet was founded in 1976. The club created a Lienzo Charro in the heart of the Midwest, located 40 miles southwest of Chicago, Illinois. Our organization since then, has provided a social outlet for many people who visit our establishment. Over the decades, we continuously see our growing popularity with people traveling from all over the Midwest to watch our shows. The Horseman Association club is dedicated to maintaining our establishment for future generations to enjoy, and we appreciate their help in building the La Herradura community.
Our establishment is known throughout the Chicagoland area as "La Herradura de Joliet". We welcome everyone who wants to engage in real Mexican culture and heritage. We take pride in being one of the largest social outlets for the Spanish speaking community in the Midwest, and we continuously work with organizations and promoters to provide eventful entertainment for our music and rodeo enthusiasts.
We are also home to our Escaramuza Team Las Rosas De Rosario, who are the Mexican Side Saddle Girls, as well as, our Mexican Charro Team known as Los Norteños De Joliet. Both teams compete in the Mexican Rodeos to help maintain our tradition alive and moving forward for future generations here in the Chicagoland area.
